There's no fixed completion deadline. Work at your own pace through the chapters and the formal assessment. Just note that the Learning Portfolio automatically closes after 12 months of inactivity — we'll send a reminder at 11 months so you can complete or download anything important.

Multiple-choice questions that check you've understood the key learning outcomes. You have unlimited attempts on each question — if you select an incorrect answer you can try again until you pick the right one. This approach supports learning rather than penalising mistakes.

Yes. Once you complete all course content and the formal assessment, a Certificate of Completion is generated automatically. It's emailed to you as a PDF and stored in your Learning Portfolio for download any time. Each certificate has a unique number in the format SE-YYYY-XXXXXX.

ForgeSkills courses provide formal evidence of completed professional learning, including notional learning hours and a formal assessment record. Whether a specific course satisfies your CPD obligations depends on your industry body, licensing authority, or employer — please confirm with them directly.

Yes. Employers can set up a Workforce Learning Platform, invite team members, allocate courses, and track progress and completion across the team. Allocated courses appear in each learner's Learning Portfolio with the source marked as employer.

An emailed receipt is sent automatically when you pay via Stripe Checkout. Employers using the Workforce Learning Platform receive invoice-style receipts for each seat purchase against their billing email.

Yes. Your Professional Development Register and certificates are downloadable as PDFs at any time from your Learning Portfolio. Employers using the Workforce Learning Platform can also export team records.

You can't fail. Every question has unlimited retries, and the assessment only completes once you've answered each question correctly. The goal is to confirm understanding — not to penalise an incorrect first guess.
